HITA’s Adopt an Acre Program
The H.E.M.P. Initiative Launches: Adopt an Acre Program with the—”Make the Mesa Green INITIATIVE”
We're excited to announce the official launch of the Adopt an Acre of Hemp program — a regenerative agriculture campaign under the H.E.M.P. Initiative, created in partnership with American Hemp Supply Co., farmer Daniel Nowell, and the Make the Mesa Green Again campaign he started to help the Southwest conserve water.
🌿 This is your opportunity to help restore Arizona’s soil, conserve water, and fuel the rise of the industrial hemp fiber industry in the Southwest.
Together, we’re opening up 500 acres of Arizona farmland in Yuma County, and we’re inviting businesses, individuals, and community leaders to adopt one or more acres.
💧 What Your $2,500 Acre Supports:
A tax-deductible donation through HITA’s 501(c)(3)
A 1-year HITA membership
Hemp grown by American Hemp Supply Co. with farmer Daniel Nowell
Real water conservation: hemp uses only 2 acre-feet vs. 8 for alfalfa
Soil healing, carbon capture, and a more resilient desert ecosystem
A stake in building the future of Arizona’s hemp fiber infrastructure
This program is designed to put value back into the soil — empowering the community to grow clean, drought-resilient crops while creating jobs, education, and momentum around American hemp.
